Can't Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings to spotlight and discuss the books we're excited about that we have yet to read. Generally, they're books that have yet to be released.
This week, I stumbled across a new book coming out this year by Jay Kristoff - the author sounds SO familiar to me, but I went though his booklist and I don't think I've read anything by him. So I don't know why lol! Anyway, it sounds interesting!

But even the Silver Order couldn’t stem the tide once daylight failed us, and now, only Gabriel remains.Imprisoned by the very monsters he vowed to destroy, the last silversaint is forced to tell his story. A story of legendary battles and forbidden love, of faith lost and friendships won, of the Wars of the Blood and the Forever King and the quest for humanity’s last remaining hope:The Holy Grail.
Beautiful cover! I need to read more by this author. Hope you get your hands on this one soon!

I haven't read anything by Kristoff although I have one of his older books that he cowrote with Amie Kaufman on my TBR shelf. Illuminae, I think it's called. The author's come under a lot of fire recently on Twitter and in other literary circles for including anti-Asian and anti-Semitic elements in his books.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy Empire of the Vampire when you read it!
I'm so excited for this book, despite knowing it's going to rip my soul from body.
